June 1st, 2008, IPDSC European Professional Standard Championship - 2008 was held for the first time in Ukraine in “ACCO International” Exhibition Center, situated in the centre of Kyiv - capital of Ukraine. 14 couples from Austria, Georgia, Italy, Russia and Ukraine took part in this important event.   The International Professional DanceSport Council (IPDSC) is the international federation governing all aspects of professional DanceSport worldwide, either directly through its own organs, or through its Member bodies in each country, or by administrative agreements with other persons and organizations. It was established independently by persons and organizations in the international professional DanceSport community to encourage and support professional DanceSport in close cooperation and consultation with the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF), in the best interest of Dancesport.
