June 1st, 2008, IPDSC European Professional Standard Championship - 2008 was held for the first time in Ukraine in “ACCO International” Exhibition Center, situated in the centre of Kyiv - capital of Ukraine. 14 couples from Austria, Georgia, Italy, Russia and Ukraine took part in this important event. I have been invited by the IPDSC Dance Sport Professional Russian Federation and his president Alexander Melnikov to judge the first IPDSC Russian Closed Championship Standard and Latin sections.

Mr. Fredric Mosa and his efficient team must be congratulated on organising a first class dancesport event in Megéve, France recently.

IPDSC World Latin Champions!!!
Once again, Benedetto Capraro and Marta Faiola from Italy won the IPDSC World Professional Latin Championship.
Benedetto and Marta won the title in 2007 also.
In the final round there were 3 couples from Italy and 3 couples from Russia.

In Madrid, during the event named DanceSportCup 2008, was held for the second time the IPDSC World Professional Standard Championship. Once again ALEXEY GALCHUN and TATIANA DEMINA from Russia won the WORLD TITLE!!!
